So I have got myself a little flying nun (Mia top left), a little fashionista (I really don’t care for that term, but nothing describes her “signature pose”better), and my Ava lion. The little lioness I should call her too. She is definitely my lefty child…so full of spirit and her own way of doing things. A strong sense of self that little girl has {or should I call it down right obstinance at times (smile)}. I admire all my girls…yep, they are never to young, or short, to deserve being looked up to at times. I see so many things that I love and truly admire in these little girls and it makes me so thankful for the opportuntity to raise and know them.
Today we took off on a whim to Newport Beach to spend the day basking (or should I say burning…ouch) in the sun. I asked Ella what she wanted to do today and she was quick to reply…”go to the beach sand!” So off we went. We built sand castles with el pollo loco cups, made sand ice cream cones (don’t try that at home), and collected sea shells and memories. Mia slept like a baby (or how babies should sleep), Ella chased birds and taught Ava how to explore the beach, and Ava relished in the warm sand between her toes. We giggled, sang songs, and had a wonderful time. It was a good day!
