Jackson…here’s a trick to get little boys to look at the camera…blow really big bubble-gum bubbles…he was in awe…plus, it scored me some eye contact…

she is such a little joker…her fav thing right now is to wait at the bottom step of the stairs grunting, giggling, or whatever she can to try to get our attention…and then the moment we come…she books it crawling like a mad woman giggling up the stairs. silly silly girl.

I wish real life colors could like the ones in my yummy photoshop world…

my photography website is almost up and running…I will let you all see it when I have it officially ready to go!

{I know that you would much rather me spend the extra time I could put into making a clever blog post for you today JUST being with you…So, I will make this short and sweet…}

I woke this morning thinking about you…

grateful for the reality of how you have changed my life

and made my world a beautiful place…

I am in awe of your patience and unconditional love for me and our three beautiful girls. You really are a wonderful Dad and I always enjoy watching you with our girls. They adore you and love how you make them laugh…even when I am too stubborn too (smile)…

without sounding too “Hallmarky”…you really have shown me love…you have allowed me to be loved…and have been my best friend. I am so thankful that 7 years ago I broke my foot and you carried me to my apartment…I am thankful for bad mexican food and good conversations…I am thankful for long distance phone calls and weekend trips home…I am thankful for all the nights you let our little girls crawl into bed and cuddle…even if it means you end up with cold feet hanging off the end of a a pink toile floral twin bed somewhere…I am thankful for P.F. Changs and phone calls from the top of the Empire State Building…I am thankful for the three children who resemble their Daddy most and love him more each day…I am thankful for Dodger dogs, long bike rides, mexican cruises, all the tears that you have wiped away…I am even more thankful for all the smiles and belly laughs that you have inspired. I am thankful for white dresses and platinum ties…I am thankful you don’t complain when we have that “turkey and rice” dinner again…and again…I am thankful for how you support whatever my obsession is at the moment and try to not stare totally blankly when I chatter off about fabrics, paint colors, clothing designs, photoshop tricks, and camera angles…

I am thankful for this day and celebrate the day you were born…

I am thankful you are part of my world…

I love you…
