We are blessed to have our cousins staying with us for a few days before they board their plane back to Colorado. Yesterday, I grabbed this little slip and slide that was clearanced out at the grocery store and knew it would make for a fun afternoon. We are enjoying mid-80 degrees right now and yesterday was a gorgeous day. So we hooked up a hose…added a few darling little bodies in some sweet summer attire…and had a blast!

Ella going for a little knee action (which is probably the safest route…I totally just dove in at the end…jeans and all. It was actually very very fun minus the water shooting up my nose! I felt 5 again…instant youth!)
then we went ladybug hunting…and found this sweet little lady…
she was a favorite among the gals…
Connor stood close by in case she got dangerous…he was sure ladybugs could bite…
then the magical sound of summer…the ice cream man rolling down the street…the kids all got these cute push-up pops (those bring back memories) and the stick doubled as a whistle…kinda fun..if you like high-pitch glass shattering noises…nah, the kids enjoyed them…
