Lois & Jesse: in love forever

I was hired by a very special family to photograph their son and his beautiful bride after their ceremony at the LDS Los Angeles Temple. The Temple grounds are beautiful. I am always in awe of how peaceful it is to be on these grounds given that they are situated right in the middle of busy Santa Monica. There is a special feeling here…and I felt priveledged to record the first moments of this newly wed couple after their wedding.

I love the expression when couples take their first steps into the world as one…bride and groom. She is so happy; he is so proud to have her…they are in love.

Jesse…

he and Lois met at BYU Hawaii…I quote this confession he shared on his blog about when he first saw Lois…
” I heard the unforgettable utterance “the Philippines.” My out-of-focus, tranced eyes quickly snapped to attention and zeroed in on the girl, whose image left an indelible impression upon my mind for the rest of the day. My first encounter with Lois De Ette ended there, with her not even realizing anything had happened.”

Love at first sight…it does exist…

Tonya! What fun surprise to see your comment on my blog & to hear that you are friends with Clint & Paige! That is so amazing! You did find out that Clint & my husband BJ have been best buddies since they were kids. Here is my e-mail: meganhunter@myplace2sell.com. I would love to hear more about you and Alana. Wow, nursing school seems like forever ago. We live about an hour north of LA, near Magic Mountain Six Flags. Wouldn’t that be fun to hook up with our kids? I just celebrated my 10th anniversary on a cruise…I will post soon. I’m not working right now either. I worked for 3 years at American Fork Hospital in Mother/Baby…starting doing training for the NICU then had the opportunity to stop. Then we moved to S. California and I worked at a local hospital here for about a year & then again had the opportunity to stop. So I did! Four kids…I’m busy. I teach piano on the side & love taking pictures…I’m just not paid to do it! :) I think my oldest, Loren was 2 when we graduated…she’s going to be 9 in July! I was 8 months pregnant with my Lindsey at our graduation and she is about to turn 7. Then Jake is 5 and Allison is turning 2 next week. Time flies! I love where we live & life is busy busy but wonderful. Do you live near Clint? Do you live in S. California? Is Alana married with kids too? Tamar and I have kept in contact. She lives in Philadelphia… her husband is in dental school. Krista Pendleton is in UT with 3 kids. Her blog is linked to mine. Those days…you look beautiful as always. Haven’t changed a bit! so fun to hear from you. Let’s stay in touch. By the way, you are so talented. I love your photography blog and your girls are so beautiful! How fun! Love, Megan
