David & Stephanie…modern. urban. senior portraits.

(First of all a HUGE shout out to Gena…you know why…you are amazing and talented and supportive and I appreciate your help and feedback with this endevour…)

A few weeks ago, I came up with the idea of marketing students at Jason’s school for senior portraits.  I love the idea of of getting out in fun settings and really bringing out the personality and beauty of these young adults.  I have not yet done any actualy marketing for my photography business, and I thought this was a fun way to start.  I am extremely sensitive about making sure I keep my role as a Mother of my 3 little girls the biggest priority in my life, but I am excited to share a little of my time this summer with some great people…

So today…(well…it is officially yesterday now), I met up with Stephanie and David for a great 45 minutes.  They needed to rush off to an ASB award dinner, so I tried my best to accommodate their busy schedules.  They were a breath of fresh air and I am so excited that I get to share my “breaks” from being at home with my darling daughters meeting so many great new people.

Let me introduce David:

Photobucket

He is senior and soon to graduate…

Photobucket

Handsome…athletic…very tall…he runs cross country and plans to continue that in college next year…

Photobucket

He brought along his very very very special girlfriend…

Photobucket

Stephanie….

Photobucket

His Mom tells me…”she is like Barbie, but with a brain!”

Photobucket

All I have to say is that…”she is adorable!”…(gorgeous…pretty…nice…sweet…etc.)

Photobucket

she volunteers at school and keeps active in the Associated Student Body…

Photobucket

an older gentleman was walking behind me as I took this shot…I had her sitting in front of an Antique Store…he says…

“She is not an Antique…she is Beautiful…”

I love the smile he inspired…

Photobucket

She kinda likes her boyfriend too…he inspires plenty of smiles I am sure…

Photobucket

Thanks for sharing a little bit of your evening with me…

Photobucket

Have fun you guys!

Photobucket

You are both at such an exciting time of life…enjoy it!  You are both awesome!

Tonya…these are STUNNING! I especially LOVE the shot with the mirror…so cool!! I just took some senior pictures for my niece and posted them on my blog. It was so fun…such a fun age to work with. I am usually chasing after my own kids threatening or bribing :) This time I was totally relaxed! I would think you could get some awesome business doing senior portraits!!!

I am so glad I saw this. I was just reading some depressing stuff and didn’t want to go to bed with that in my mind so all I had to do was visit your site and get cheered up. Thanks!
