sweet slumber

I woke this morning pretty early…for some reason, I just couldn’t find a comfortable position to slip back into my sweet slumber…why you ask?

I think it may have something to do with this little bed…

and this little bed…

and this very little bed…all being empty!

I guess Mom and Dad’s is “just right!”

Here’s to happy kiddos, a healthy sense of acceptance, and knowing that a comfortable night’s sleep is only like 18 years away!  Let’s not rush it though!

You little bed invaders are welcome any night…

xoxo

That’s cute! Someday they will make beds big enough for large families. Rob asked Paige yesterday why she always crawls in on moms side when she comes in…she didn’t give an answer. Well, last night the invader came in again..and for the first time in 18 months she climbed in on daddy’s side…it was pretty funny. I hope you get a nap today.

Oh what a sweet, sweet way to wake up!!! This post just really struck me because as any mother knows…you certainly don’t sleep much with little ones in the house but it just doesn’t matter because you would rather cuddle with them than do anything else!! Thanks for sharing such sweet photos of their gorgeous rooms and beautiful sleeping faces!

Every Mom has to appreciate this post. I loved it! But, how do you keep you kids rooms so clean? Did you use photoshop? Christian’s room is a train wreck – literally! Thomas everywhere.

So sweet :) Babies (of whatever age) are so beautiful asleep… And their rooms are just as gorgeous as they are! Truly perfect for 3 little princesses! What if this one is a boy? How that might turn your world upside down huh? (boys are sweet too though…don’t despair!!)

Precious post!
Sweet dreams to my little ones! I appreciate the kind way you invite the girls to feel safe, secure, loved, and close to you. It’s good to see you treat your children as treasured guests in your home; they do grow up all too quickly.
Lots of love, Mom

This is such a sweet little post! For the longest time Huntler slept with us and then he decided his bed was better! Every now and again though he pops back into our room in the middle of the night for snuggles! And Gentry has always been independent and never wanted to sleep with us! As she gets older though, she always wants to snuggle in our bed!

The girls’ rooms are DARLING! Thanks for the little peek inside your home!!

three cheers for sleeping babies!
my littlest didn’t sleep at all last night between 2:05 and 5:16. ugh.
but, holding her for 3 straight hours (and 11 minutes) was precious…i don’t get that much anymore.
