melting my heart…

we woke this morning and took a trip to the donut shop with Daddy. The girls enjoyed sprinkle donuts and Ella tried out the chocolate bar…(a big hit)…I watched on and laughed when Ava suggested I get a salad (she knows I do not like donuts).  Jason relished in a new tradition in a breakfast treat with his girls at the local Sunny Donut.  He is home today to play with his little ladies while I am off shortly to a wedding in San Diego. After retuning home, Jason and the girls gathered up diapers, wipes, extra clothes, and sweatshirts and were about to be out the door to go visit Grandma (they love it when I have a photo session…so much fun with Daddy when I am away)…

I received 3 big hugs and about 100 kisses (1 from ella and 1 from ava and 98 from Mia)…and then my sweet Ella said…

”Mommy, I am gonna say a prayer for you…”

I kneeled down next to her and she started her sweet prayer as she always does…part of it here…

“please bless Momma that she will do good photography (“to-ca-fro-key”) today..and drive safe…and bless her to do beautiful pictures”

Now…with that blessing upon my head from such angelic little lips..how could my day go wrong!

I am so proud of my thoughtful little lady (and all my little ladies!) and for her trust in prayer…(makes me feel like I have at least done one thing right)!

Hope everyone has a beautiful day…

xoxo

“Makes me feel like I have at least done one thing right”–oh, puh-lease! Try a hundred bajillion! You’re such a great mama! I know what you mean, though, and it is so satisfying to think that something you’ve said or done has made a good impression on them!

I love that pic of that sweet sweet little Ella! Hope the shoot went well!
