so I have been a very lazy blogger these days, but I certainly have been busy and working hard at home…My wrist is healing quickly and I have been able to get to work on finishing up some projects in the home before the baby comes…
Jason and I celebrate an anniversary soon, so we opted for a new bed in lieu of a vacation this year…I spotted the bed at my friend and client, Tammy’s house (yes…beautiful baby kate’s mommy), and knew it was just the bed for the room (thanks Tammy for sharing your source)…we have been busy spiffing up the room and I am very thankful for Jason working on the home. I loved what we did in the baby’s room, so I asked Jason to put up one wall of it in our bedroom. (he has been wearing his toolbelt a lot for me lately…I really appreciate it!). I pulled the drapes and blue accents from Mia’s room and was able to use them in our room. I love recycling stuff in my home and I swear, everytime anyone comes to visit, something is different. It is much more friendly on the budget to just move stuff, rather than buy stuff. I guess I just am a busy-body. Anyways, Jase made me promise it was our last “project” for him in a while. If only I could transfer this nesting on to him!
Thanks Jase…

Ella got to take her Grandma (Jason’s Mom) and Daddy to Disneyland all by herself this week…I am sure she enjoyed spoiling her grandma on Grandma’s birthday and had a great time. She made a purchase while there that has been keeping her busy…

she had a gift voucher for going to Disneyland on her birthday and shopped for about an hour and finally picked out this…

a disposable camera! I thought it was funny at first that she didn’t pick out some princess stuff or even mickey mouse ears, but it makes complete sense…she loves taking pictures…

she and Mia had a little session and Mia was showing her little buddah belly off (the kid totally stripped down nakie not much longer after this…Mia has an obsession with running around naked these days…)

then she turned the camera on me for a maternity shoot…I obliged, but then got a little anxious for it to be over…she kept telling me…”ok, just three more pics mommy…”
I think Ella is soon to inherit my Rebel…she really is quite good at taking pics…makes me smile…

we have also been busy getting ready for Adam…all of us dreaming up what he will look like and when he will come…

Mia is always kissing my tummy and talking to the “baby” in my belly. She is so sweet and I tell her that when he comes, Mommy will hold him…and mommy will hold Mia…and Mia will hold the baby…I think she understands that there is actually a little person in there…

I am almost done with the space and love the yummy pallete for the room…just a few more details and I will be sure to share a couple pics…
Hope everyone has a beautiful weekend!
xoxo
