the little boy named adam…

i can’t quite explain what it is that feels immediately different about little boys…but it is there…

I adore all my little girls…and have developed such a deep love as well for my little guy…

he was 4 1/2 months old here and has been growing like a little weed…and trying to crawl already…

crawling…i mean…”what are you doing up on your hands and knees you are my baby slow down”…crawling!!!

(oh and he is trying to fly too:))

He is so strong and does not like to sit still…in fact, when ever I am holding him…he insists on always standing…on my hip…it is the funniest little thing…all I can say is he is a little go-getter!

here he is trying to swat my camera like a basketball…he is so cute and is reaching for everything!

Adam is always happy, he sleeps through the night, wakes up so so so happy and loves to “talk” first thing in the morning with whomever is first in sight…usually me..sometimes daddy…or depending on the night…it may be any one, if not all, of his silly sisters…when I return home from an early morning workout, I seriously note the highlight of my day as coming in and seeing his cute little face.

He is joy.

(i can read his thougths here…”help mommy…help”)

 I love him…and my girls…so much!

Mia loves having a baby brother…she is so attentive and loves to hug, kiss, and hold him…

He is a great photography assistant as well!

(don’t worry, I don’t show up to all my sessions with him strapped to my chest or wearing ugg boots with capris…:))

(here i was getting this shot below…just thought i would throw a random fyi in there )

(wow…i guess I like wearing that green shirt and capris, just noticed it is the same thing as the pics abouve…I only add in the moon boots when I am venturing out in feilds and my Mom is wearing my shooting boots:) …geesh…someone sign me up for TLC’s “what not to wear”…I think my boy is the only thing that looks good on me here:))

love you son!

have a beautiful day!

xoxo

Tonya

well, regardless of what you’re wearing …. those morning workouts are working like a charm — you look AMAZING! Can’t believe how big Adam is getting — and the girls too — time flies, doesn’t it?

Love it Tonya! Adam is a doll!! He look so happy and content…and adored by all! Too sweet! And you, my friend, look FAB!! I hope you are feeling great about yourself because you are LOOKING great! And that green shirt you are sporting…happens to be my favorite shade to wear right now! So cheery and fun! Hope you are having a happy day!

He is such a darling little boy! I can’t even believe that he is getting up on all fours and wanting to crawl, oh no look out!

well Green is my favorite…so I love the outfit! The baby is super cute too!

PamperingBeki - September 16, 2009 - 10:37 pm

Okay –
1. You’re a doll.
2. My daughter crawled before 4 months old, and it was CRAZY! So be prepared for him to be on the move very soon.
3. Boys are so different than girls. There’s no way to describe it until you raise both. You’re seeing that.
4. This is the third time this week I’ve seen someone mention What Not To Wear on their blog! One of them was me. You don’t want to know what I actually wore in public hoping to get on the show.
5. I want your camera and lens.

k. thanks. bye.

I should of said YOUR baby in the last comment. oops Anyway…someone referred to you as a dress maker. Do you make dresses? How are you connected to Drew B? I saw this at Joyshope.com. Will you email me or post a comment back here.

i love the green shirt.
i have the same one in black…i like the green better!

could you tell me what lens you are using and if it has an attachment on it…please? :)

i was talking this week about sons and mothers….it’s different.
i feel like my boys LIKE me and Love me. i don’t feel that is or has always been the case with girls.
i love them all the same but there is definite mother son bond.

he’s a doll.

Such a cutie!!!

Hey, skinny…what is your secret? Seriously. :)

I think he is going to become your manager in about 2 years. Very cute shots! Having one boy and one girl, I can totally relate to your feelings about having a boy. Entirely different kind of Mother Love…equally great, but different. Enjoy him while you can because the girls will grow up to be your best friends forever, but the boys grow up to become Men.
Love you,
Sharon:)

Tonya, wonderful photos & blogging…..give the girls and “the little boy named adam” some kisses and hugs from me. Love, Mom

I know what you mean… I have 3 girls and just had a little boy. He’s only 2 months old, but I love him so much. It is somehow different than the girls… and the girls just adore him as well. :) Your little man is adorable.

First of all, you look incredible Tonya! :) Secondly, Adam is uber gorgeous! He’s getting so big! I LOVE, LOVE him standing on your hip. That is the cutest thing! What a doll! I love all of the photos, but I love his expression in the one where he is trying to fly. lol Adorable! You have the most beautiful kids and family. :)

he is the cutest thing I have ever seen

Tanya! I’m not quite sure I’ve ever commented before, but I check your blog often. I just had to comment on this one, because my little one does the EXACT same thing to me! We call her the hip dweller, or hippie chick. She never wants to just sit on my hip like my other babies did, she wants to stand! I keep telling my hubby I need him to take a picture of it so I can always have that memory. I may have to take on in the mirror myself. ;) Thanks for the smile.
