A few weeks ago, I had the absolute delight of assisting my friend and amazing photographer, Kamee June, with one of her weddings…
we started the day out a little bit hectic with a huge oil spill closing all the major roads en route to this gorgeous newport beach venue…but thanks to google maps and my handy dandy phone…we re-routed and managed to get there with just moments to spare…
just in time to catch all of this…
when I found out I would be shooting along side kamee and that we would be shooting “anthro bride”…(as kamee appropriately dubbed her after shooting her and Jeff’s e-session)…i was on cloud nine…
I was so excited to get my camera on this amazing beauty…
seriously rachael…you are so timelessly beautiful…
i am so excited for what you and jeff have started on this gorgeous day!
kam and i had oh so much fun crawling through the bushes…i was so close to posting a pic of kam in action in these bushes…it was very very very impressive…she’s got some serious skills!
rachael’s dress was so stunning…
every bride needs a great pair of shoes…
these were so dang cute!
some details…
beautiful girl…
jeff was the perfect groom…I love being able to observe the way a man treats his lady in their wedding day…I just stood back and saw jeff stand so confidently with her…look at her with such love…the day was a bit stressful with traffic and worry over timelines…but I am so glad Kamee took them to this location to create such beautiful images that truly brought out their style…
doesn’t jeff look so handsome if i do say so myself!!
some girls just know how to work it…and Rach surely knew how to pull out all her professional modeling skills (she is not actually one…but I think she should quit her day job and march right into anthropologie and just become their spokeswoman
)…
(anybody still wondering why we call her anthro bride?
)
she was killing me here…we just had to stand back and wait for the next pose…incredible!!!
xoxo
