I was completely unsuspecting, when a sweet little comment from Jason tonight left me in tears…
I sat at the table bouncing adam on my knee, fighting his paws off my guacamole, and watching the girls dance to high school musical as it looped for the 100th time today…
jason got up from the couch while watching the girls, walked slowly over to me at the dinner table, brushed his fingers through my hair, and then the comment came…
“you know in 10-15 years, we are gonna look back on these times as some of the best times of our lives and remember them fondly…”
and I lost it…
tears…
the ones that have building up with the long frazzled out days I have been feeling as a momma…the tears that make you stronger as you set them free…they make you finally feel and see so much clarity…
these days.while extremely hard.are.the.best.ones.of.my.life.
such a bittersweet balance life always seems to gift us…so thankful for the clarity tonight to enjoy the sweet.
speaking of sweetness…here’s a double dose…

remember heather and rob…as you do double diaper duty, feed twice as long, change twice as many diapers…
“these are the days you will look back on and remember them fondly”…
these days are the best ones of your lives…
xoxo

SUPER sweet post Tonya. I could go on and on about how what you have written here is perfect, but I don’t need to…because you see, it’s perfect.
What a sweet hubby you are, Uncle Jay. And you are right. Thanks for the reminder (again) Tonya. =) You are inspiring in too many ways to list. =)
ADORABLE! I love your sweet words or should I say Jason’s comment.
I have plenty of those moments regularly too.
It’s hard to see all the little things as often as we probably should, with all the hustle and bustle of LIFE, but when those moments come as you stop long enough to soak them up…you cant help but be so extremely grateful and I always get emotional at that point.
Beautiful thoughts….and beautiful photos of beautiful babies….precious
Tonya you are so right, and I needed to hear this after a long weekend with my lil one! Thanks
Tonya!!!
Again with the tears. But thank you. Thank Jason. I need to hear this so badly right now. So badly. Thank you.
Love this sweet twin post, Tonya. My hubby and I have had the same conversation over the years about our munchkins. Thanks for reminding me of how fleeting these crazy moments are in our life.
So cute! I want one! What are their names? They are adorable! You are a great mom and are blessed to have a husband who easily recognizes that too! Love you!
