baby clare: 2 months

i can’t believe it has been 2 1/2 years since I first started bringing my camera over to the Dunst house…

the little angels bring me there

every time I walk through their door, I can’t wait to see how she has changed and grown more and more beautiful as the month goes by…

tammy and brett make beautiful babies…

clare is 2 months old….

having a baby in your home is such a gift…i know life gets busy, and crazy, and the life of a momma of little ones is not easy by any means…

but truly…

having this kind of perfection in your life…even for the short amount of time that it is…

simply one of the best things we will ever know…

happy happy baby…

Kate loves to play my assistant out on these shoots…and since she was 2 1/2 here we documented her in a few of the images…

keep growing baby clare…I will see you soon…

“slow it down…make it stop…or else my heart is gonna pop”

when i look at all of the pieces of me that are stitched together to make me who I am…mom is always what I want to see first. I am thankful for that. Even more, I am thankful to be home with my babes and to watch them grow and become…

motherhood is the ultimate balance…some of the sweetest joys in life paired up with some of the most frustrating…

but in the end…i know it goes way too fast…and all we can do is fills our hearts with love…and when we think we have reached the end of it all…we just love more…

And…there is not one baby that I meet, that I don’t instantly fall in love with…how could i not when I get to be around such little angels as these…

Meet Clare…

her name inspired by this beautiful song that plays to her images…

she is calm…sweet…and adorably healthy

Clare comes into a family not unfamiliar with the blessings of little girls…

she is little sister to our sweet baby big girl kate…

…and they are so lucky to have each other.

nothing like catching a little smile…(look at her sweet baby chub…such a healthy little girl!)

she slept like a champ despite me squeezing her into this vintage baby doll pram that was almost too small for her… (thank you clare)

sun kissed joy…baby kate turns two…

magical afternoons are made of sweet little girls draped in dresses fit for princesses

they may not always start out magical (nap time was interrupted by our little outting )

but after a few moments of play and discovery…

in a sun kissed citrus orchard…

the magic begins…

simple things…like hide and seek with mom and dad…

with the love, encouragement, play and help of a photographer named (“guys”…i like my new name kate )

…bring out the beauty, spirit, and love of a little girl named…kate…

oh, our sweet kate…

some fun little props that made their way from new york flea markets to our citrus grove…helped to add a little charm (and a place to keep this little one contained )…to our little afternoon outing…
