mama kat

I feel so blessed in this little season of my life. Motherhood is really the hardest (but most incredible) jobs that I know I will ever have. With all things that are of worth, they usually don’t come easy and often are balanced out with a lot of tough parts to help up to truly know the good! I feel like motherhood is often the best example of this! How sweet it is…and how equally challenging! I truly rely on a handful of women to help me through this venture of life…top of my list is my amazing mother and my sweet sisters and sister in law. But I also gain so much strength, perspective, and just plain venting and support from my sweet friends. I feel so blessed to be at a stage where confidence is finally blossoming and so many of the insecurities of my younger self have cleared and I can truly support and enjoy the friendship of women in my life. I am very grateful for the talented, sweet, giving, and just plain awesome girls I enjoy friendship with.

One of my sweet friends, Katrina, let me get her beautiful family in front of my camera. I adore her and she is one of the most hilarious, real, giving, strong, and talented women I know! So grateful for her and so happy to spend some time with her uber cute family! I am beyond thrilled they are adding another gorgeous little boy to this world and can’t wait to meet little Oliver!

i still call her baby kate…

no matter how big this little girl gets, she will always be “baby kate” to me! I love this little family so much and it was such a treat to see them and spend a little time in downtown riverside with them for Christmas time photos. Riverside always delivers, and adding in this beautiful family is a win-win! The dunst girls just get more and more beautiful and spunky…and I truly feel blessed to share in watching them grow!

chris and katie…

I absolutely love shooting clients over the span of years…this gorgeous couple hired me a few years ago when they just had one little beauty and I was so happy to see them again a few weeks ago! Their family has been blessed with another gorgeous little girl and I swear there are some amazing genes going on in this family. Mom and Dad are both incredibly gorgeous, so I guess their little ones can’t be anything but beautiful! I have been taking the holiday/family photo season a bit slower this year to keep a somewhat healthy balance with my home full of sweet little ones, but I am so thankful for the time I do get to head out with my camera and create pretty pics! Thank you Greenwades for making photos with me something you put on your list while vacationing here. It was SO wonderful to see you and meet the new little lady!
