Is Wooramel station dog friendly?
A. Pets are allowed at the Wooramel campsite, however they must be on a lead at all times and any sign of antisocial behavior will result in a move on notice. Pets are not allowed in inside the Artesian baths, Tents, 4 Quarters, or on our 4WD track.

How big is the Wooramel River?
The property occupies an area of 1430 square kilometres with 60 kilometres of coastline frontage to the Indian Ocean, backing onto the Shark Bay World Heritage area. The Wooramel River is an upside down river running on the surface only 2-3 times a year for a couple of weeks at a time, after good inland rains.
Why do people come to Wooramel?
One of the main reasons ( if not the reason) people come to Wooramel is for the hot baths. The artesian water is approximately 33oC. It arrives at the baths after natural pressure sends it 240 m to the surface. Coupled with high minerals they are relaxing and well worth a dip.
