Are Hypto Krypto good?
This board has been my daily driver for 4yrs. It brought back the love of surfing due to the ease of getting into waves and the predictability/stability. It performs well in all conditions and is super durable. It would have been surfed over a 1000 times and it barely has a mark on it.
Do you need to screw in FCS 2 fins?
With the FCS II system, the need for any screws or tool to secure the fins has been eliminated. Simply insert the front of the fin into the plug and use downward pressure to lock the fin in place. When using genuine FCS II fins, it’s now possible to install and remove your fins in seconds.
Can you ride the Hypto Krypto as a twin?
Yes, it is, but I would recommend riding the HK Twin in a larger size. It is more of a cruisy board in small waves, although it still has plenty of speed. A beginner would be able to generate more speed on a thruster model, we recommend checking out the Hypto Krypto, Loot or Plunder.
Do FCS fins fit in FCS 2?
Yes, you can use all your existing FCS fins with the FCSII system. The FCSII plugs are backwards compatible – grub screws can be used within the FCSII plugs to secure your existing dual tab FCS fins.
Where are Hypto Krypto made?

How do you size a Hypto Krypto?
SKILL LEVEL – All Levels The Hypto Krypto is suitable for all skill levels. For those who are experienced, surf it 1 – 2 inches shorter than your everyday shortboard. For those starting out order it 2 inches bigger than your everyday shortboard. If you’re stepping down from a longboard or mini mal, order 6’2 and up.

Can FCS 2 fit in futures?
You can’t also use your FCS fins on boards with Futures fin boxes, vice versa.
Are twin fins hard to ride?
Your twin has around 10-15% more volume than your allround shortboard (you can surf it with the same amount of volume, but why would you?). That should make it very easy for you to paddle and catch waves. As it has very little rocker, you need to get used to that in your take off first.
